Why should i hire a photographer?
By hiring a photographer, you are getting photos that will last you a lifetime. For your wedding, we will be sure to capture the special moments of your day while making sure your day keeps moving!
When will i get my photos?
I pride myself in delivering the best product possible for my clients. Depending on the event, you can expect your whole gallery in 2-8 weeks. Typically, couples and senior portraits will be returned in 2-4 weeks while wedding galleries are returned between 6-8 weeks. But don't worry, I'll be sure to send you sneak peeks along the way!
How will I get my photos?
Galleries will be delivered via Pixieset for you to view. You will have two weeks to download your photos from the time that the galleries are sent. I do not deliver prints, but you are more than welcome to use your digital download to buy your prints.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes, part of the photography process includes choosing the best shots and editing them to deliver to my clients. The art of photography is a process, taking the photo then editing!
Do you deliver every image?
Simply put, no. I have the discretion to determine which images are quality to return. I only return images that have been edited, as that is part of who I am as a photographer! And trust me, you don't want the picture from the time I left my lens cap on... It happens more than you'd think!
How do we book with you?
Please fill out the contact form, on this website to get in touch! We will set a date, and a deposit of half of the service will be due at time of booking to secure your date and time.
What is your rescheduling and cancellation policy?
If done at least 24 hours before the shoot, there is no charge for rescheduling your shoot. If done within 24 hours of the shoot, there will be a $20 rescheduling fee. In the event of an emergency such as illness, injury, or another emergency, there is no rescheduling fee. In the case of a cancellation, the non-refundable deposit is unable to be returned. Trust me, I know life happens. Reach out, and we'll figure it out together!
Do we have copyright/ownership of photos?
No, you do not own copyright. With the print release included with your images, you are able to print as many photos as you would like. If you post the photos on your social media, just be sure to tag Caitlyn Loughman Photos!
We're awkward in front of the camera. Is that okay?
Let me let you in on a secret, we're all awkward in front of the camera at first. By the end of our session, you'll be a pro. Just be ready to relax and be yourself and I'll take care of the rest!
